Seven teenagers accused of killing 28-year-old Thorisho Themane in Polokwane, Limpopo, will appear in the Polokwane Children’s Court on Friday.
Themane was attacked on the 23rd of February at a park in Florapark. He succumbed to his injuries the next day in hospital.
Two adults, who are Polokwane Municipality employees, were each granted R 1000 bail.
The case against the seven teenagers has been postponed numerous times. The teenagers will appear at the Children’s Court in camera as they are minors.
Amongst them is a 16-year-old who appeared on a video boasting that he was untouchable as his father is a senior police officer. The teenager is also accused of stabbing another teenager with a pair of scissors in December last year.
