Soweto Mandlanzi, the author of the book, Decoding 666-9: The inexplicable life of Senzo Meyiwa, says he is receiving death threats since he started working on the book. Mandlanzi says he had the blessings of Senzo Meyiwa’s late father Sam to write the book.
Lobby group AfriForum on behalf of the family of slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa, has called on the NPA to open an inquest into his murder.
Police minister Bheki Cele has refuted reports that the case docket into Senzo Meyiwa’s murder is missing. The Minister says he’s noted with concern the false statements attributed to him that the murder docket of Senzo Meyiwa is missing.
The NPA has yet to make any prosecutions on Senzo Meyiwa’s death and Meyiwa’s brother Sifiso says the police know the suspect.
