The National Prosecuting Authority says they will re-enrol fraud charges against former crime intelligence boss, Richard Mdluli.

Former Crime Intelligence boss Richard Mdluli has been acquitted on the four counts of intimidation that he was convicted of. This is as the result of the Constitutional Court ruling in October that sections of the Intimidation Act are unconstitutional.

Former Crime Intelligence official, Colonel Dhanajaya Naidoo says he believes that at least 5 million rand in salaries, vehicles and hiring houses, was spent on the seven former spy boss, Richard Mdluli’s family members, unduly appointed to the unit.
