A US court has ruled that cameras will be allowed in the courtroom during the trial and pre-trial in R. Kelly’s sexual abuse case.
Singer R. Kelly was released from a Chicago jail on Saturday after a child support payment of more than 161 000 dollars was made to an ex-wife, police said, ending his second incarceration in two weeks after a prior arrest on sex assault charges.
Two women living with R. Kelly are defending the R&B superstar charged with sexual abuse, saying in an interview aired on Thursday that their relationships with him are consensual.
Famous and successful people are not exempt from being perpetrators or victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
R&B superstar R. Kelly was taken into custody Wednesday for failing to pay child support, just weeks after he was detained on sex abuse charges.
