KwaZulu-Natal will host the International Investment Conference at the Durban International Convention Centre next month.
President Cyril Ramaphosa and KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance MEC – Nomusa Dube-Ncube are visiting Amanzimtoti – one of the areas hardest hit by floods in the Durban metro.
The death toll following the devastating floods in KwaZulu-Natal has risen to 51. The Weather Service is warning that the rains will continue over the province on Wednesday – with the weather only expected to clear from on Thursday.
The death toll due to floods that caused havoc in ZwaZulu-Natal has risen to 32. The worst affected areas include Chatsworth in the south of Durban, and Pinetown west of Durban.
Cooperative Governance said teams are monitoring the situation, especially in low lying areas following a warning about possible localised flooding.
