This week marks 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Palestine and South Africa.
Full diplomatic relations between the two countries were, however, formalised on 15 February 1995, with South Africa’s first representative to the Palestinians National Authority taking up office in August of the same year in Gaza.

Israeli spacecraft aims to make history by landing on Moon

A rocket will take off from Cape Canaveral in Florida on Thursday night carrying Israel’s Beresheet spacecraft, which aims to make history twice: as the first private-sector landing on the Moon, and the first from the Jewish state.
