Former Tourism Minister Derek Hanekom has welcomed the ruling by the High Court in Pietermaritzburg regarding his defamation case against former President Jacob Zuma.
Former president Jacob Zuma has lost his appeal in the Derek Hanekom defamation suit. Judge Dhaya Pillay made the ruling in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Thursday.
Former president Jacob Zuma is headed to the Pietermaritzburg High court today where he is expected to apply to have the civil defamation case, brought by former Tourism Minister Derek Hanekom, struck off the roll.
