Reading Time: < 1 minute

The SABC Permanent Board is expected to make its first appearance in Parliament on Tuesday since its recent appointment recently.

The Board will appear before the Communications Committee.

The SABC executive and non-executive board members are expected to brief the committee on the corporation’s quarterly report for the current financial year.

Their appearance in parliament comes at a time when SABC management and the two labour unions CWU and Bemawu are still battling to reach an agreement on wage negotiations.

The two unions want a ten percent salary hike for the workers.
