Sundowns expect tough game with Wits

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane says only Bidvest Wits stand between them and another Absa Premiership title.

Mosimane believes that if his side beats the students on Saturday afternoon, then the title is as good as in the bag for the Chloorkop side.

With only five matches to go before the season wraps up, the former Caf champions league gold medalists are preparing for a tough battle.

“Gavin would never like to lose to Sundowns that easy and Wits would never like to lose against Sundowns it’s a very difficult game,”said Mosimane.

However, the Sundowns family is already in a celebratory mood. They have presented the Player of the Season candidate, Percy Tau with a brand new car.

The sponsors are planning to surprise him even more if he is named the Player’s Player and the Player of the Season.

“We believe that they are going to take the title. We don’t think they look to. They’re definitely going to do it,” Dealer Principal, Nico Stroh.

“It’s always great to associate yourself with big brands and I have a beautiful car. It sounds nice,” says Tau.

If Tau keeps on scoring in the league, he will scoop even more awards. He is joint top goalscorer with Polokwane City striker, Rodney Ramagalela.

They have scored 11 goals.
