Stellenbosch based student artist Jessica Storm Kapp, has added her name to the winners of the Sasol Signatures Art Competition.
Her rammed earth columns and embedded object installation piece titled Mapping Time is the stand out piece that scooped her prestigious prize.
The Fine Arts student says her work explores interpretation of retracing her own personal memories of home to create new articulations of space following the fire.
Jessica says the exhibition has been a fantastic experience, “We have been able to get feedback from a broader audience and also meeting other artists and collectors.”
