The SADC ministerial troika meeting is expected to resume in the capital city of Botswana, Gaborone on Thursday afternoon.
The meeting coincide with President Jacob Zuma’s long planned bi-national commission in Botswana.
The current political crisis in Zimbabwe will be high on the agenda. It’s not clear whether President Robert Mugabe will accept a proposal that he negotiate his exit. The exit package includes Mugabe and his family getting the state protection.
This forms part of the much-talked about new deal that is likely to see the former vice president Emerson Mnangagwa leading a transitional government.
