South Africa will be represented in Sunday’s ICC Cricket World Cup final at Lords in London. Marais Erasmus who was one of the umpires in yesterday’s (Thursday) semi-final between England and Australia at Edgbaston in Birmingham, will also be one of the two umpires for the final.

He will share the duties with Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka who controversially gave out England batsman Jason Roy in yesterday’s (Thursday) semi-final. Roy showed dissent and was fined 30 percent of his match fee and given two demerit points by match referee Ranjan Madugalle. Madugalle will also be the match referee for the final, while Australia’s Rod Tucker will be the third umpire.
