The grandchildren of the late anti-apartheid activist Archie Sibeko have expressed gratitude to the people who celebrated the life of the struggle stalwart.

Thoko Mzolisa has described her grandfather as a loving and caring person.

Sibeko died in England at the age of 90.

He was accorded a special provincial funeral.

Mzolisa says she enjoyed every moment she spent with her grandfather.

“Tato’mkhulu would be the one who would celebrate every promotion, every degree, every childbirth. He was a rebel who spoke his heart out. He has run the race successfully. Rest in peace, Jwarha. It’s time for you to go rest and join the people on the other side.”
