Ireland’s Shane Lowry and Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat share the lead after the third round of the Turkish Open golf tournament in Antalya. The pair are tied on 14-under and lead by two strokes after carding a 65 and 66 respectively.

Lowry had arguably the most consistent round on day three in Antalya. The Irish golfer picked up three strokes on his front nine to make the turn in 31. He rolled in three more birdies from the 11th to the 13th holes and eventually signing for a flawless 6 under par 65 for a total of 199, 14 under par.

Keeping pace with him was Aphibarnrat who also enjoyed a blemish free round. A three time winner on the European Tour, the Thai picked up five shots for his 66. Lowry’s compatriot Padraig Harrington, England’s Justin Rose and overnight leader Nicolas Colsearts are two strokes behind the leaders. Harrington and Rose both returned the lowest round of the day, a 64.

Colsearts, who had a four shot lead after the second round imploded on his homeward nine with two bogeys and a double bogey slumping to a dismal two-over par 73. Dylan Frittelly is the best placed South African, heading into the final day.

Frittelli, whose scorecard was also unblemished, eagled the par five 12th hole on his way to a 66 and is tied with a group of five others who are four shots adrift on 10-under.
