The South African Weather Services has issued a warning for severe thunderstorms across parts of Gauteng and Mpumalanga this evening.
The conditions are expected to persist until tomorrow and while light rain is expected in the Western and Eastern Cape.
“We’re only expecting it to continue only through into the early evening for tonight, it should be clearing later during the evening.
Then for tomorrow again we do expect about sixty-percent chance of thundershowers over the North-Eastern parts of the country again so that includes Gauteng, Mpumalanga as well as KZN,” says Forecaster Edward Engelbrecht.
