North West police are still looking for six awaiting trial prisoners who escaped from the Hartbeespoort Dam police cells on Friday.
It is reported that the men escaped in the early hours by sawing through the burglar proofing.
Police spokesperson, Sam Tselanyane has urged members of the community not to try and apprehend the escapees themselves as they may be dangerous.
Their names are Felix Mlambo 26, Caiphus Shilenge 26, Henry Sithole 22, Charles Chauke 34, Talent Machinda 25 and Paul Mazite 24.
They were detained for various offences including murder and anyone with information that may lead to their arrest can call the nearest police station or contact the investigating officer, Colonel Simon Mokwena on 082 856 1326.
