The South African National Editors’ Forum (Sanef) has expressed sadness at the passing of City Press Senior political reporter, Ngwako Modjadji.
He died on Saturday night in what is believed to be a hit-and-run.
Modjadji cut his teeth in journalism at the Citizen newspaper before joining the Sowetan as a political journalist.
Ordinary South Africans and various organisations have taken to social media to send their condolences.
