The South African Human Rights Commission is expected to make a presentation to the Constitutional Review Committee on Thursday on whether Section 25 of the constitution should be amended to expropriate land without compensation.

It’s the third day of the committee’s hearings on the issue.

The Constitutional Review Committee will continue to hear oral presentations from different stakeholders.

They include the Helen Suzman Foundation, the First Nation Churches and the National House of Traditional Leaders.

The oral presentations based on the written submissions are expected to be concluded on Friday.

On the other side, Deputy President David Mabuza will answer oral questions in the NCOP Thursday afternoon ranging from issues on Land Reform and the Moral Regeneration Movement.
