The SABC has extended the deadline for people to make submissions on the editorial interference and sexual harassment at the public broadcaster.

The SABC recently set up a Commissions of Inquiry to look into the two issues.  SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says more people have shown interest and a decision was taken to extend the deadline for submissions.

The deadline was on Friday but has been extended to next week Friday.

Kganyago says the extension is to afford people an opportunity to make inputs.

“It came to our attention that there are still a lot of people who are interested in giving their submissions and the request came through us. We have then decided to extend the time to June 22 which is next week Friday in order to making sure that no one is left outside and to make sure that we get to the bottom of all that has happened.”
