SA is ready for a female president: Motshekga

The African National Congress Women’s League (ANCWL) president Angie Motshekga says South Africa is ready for a female president.

President Jacob Zuma is expected to start proceedings at the ANCWL National Conference at Irene, south east of Pretoria on Thursday.

Three thousand delegates completed their registration for the conference on Wednesday. The three day conference will see a new leadership installed.

Speaking on Morning Live, Motshekga says we fail to recognise that we have had female deputy presidents twice.
