There are fears that the latest developments will lead to Political tensions in the Mountain Kingdom.

The mountain kingdom has been rocked by tensions between political parties for several years.

Recently high-ranking law enforcement and his two attackers were shot dead. Kamoli is appearing for formal bail application on Monday in the High Court of Lesotho.

There are fears that the latest developments will lead to Political tensions in the Mountain Kingdom.

Earlier Kamoli was expected by many to provide answers to many questions about Lesotho instability, including the 30 August 2014 coup allegations and the killing of former army commanders Maaparankoe Mahao and Khoantle Motsomotso.

Kamoli spent the past weekend in police custody.

Prime Minister Tom Thabane and his 2014 government have maintained that Lieutenant Colonel Tlali Kamoli led or supported an attempted coup on the 30 August 2014.

But then Deputy Prime Minister, Mothetjoa Metsing, maintained it was the army that was disarming police.

A Police Sub Inspector Ramahloko was killed during that operation.

Over the years, the army under Kamoli’s command refused to allow the police to question any of its members about that incident, the killing of former army commander Maaparankoe Mahao and any others.

Kamoli has also filed a defamation lawsuit in which he demands 5-million rand from the Lesotho Times for publishing a story that he insinuates he was involved in plotting the killling of army commander Khoantle Motsomotso.

The other missing piece of the puzzle is information from a former Commissioner of Police who has fled the country. Lesotho Foreign Minister Lesego Makgothi.
