Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa has wished Bafana Bafana well ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifying match against Senegal in Polokwane on Friday night.

Bafana Bafana must win the two back to back clashes against Senegal to qualify for the World Cup in Russia. They are currently bottom of group D with four points from four matches.

The match will kick off at 7pm at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Ramaphosa has urged Bafana Bafana to make the nation proud during their encounter with the star-studded Senegalese “Lions of Teranga”.

“And tonight (Friday) we wish Bafana Bafana a great luck as they go against Senegal.  This is a do or die match and we hope they are going to succeed, win and qualify.  It will be a crime free event that will not threaten the lives of any spectators who will be coming to our country.”
