Ramaphosa salutes Boks victory

The Springboks have left the Union Buildings in Pretoria where President Cyril Ramaphosa hosted them.

The President has hailed the Boks victory against England in the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

 

They team have embarked on the Rugby World Champions’ National Trophy tour, starting with Pretoria and Johannesburg after which they will head to Soweto.

The tour will also take the team to Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.

 

Meanwhile, fans are at still the Union Buildings.

“I’m very excited to be here. I think the biggest thing was when we knew it was clinched, it was ours. Our boys, especially our captain [Siya] Kolisi and coach, they did a wonderful job, and we are so excited to be here. I am so excited to be here… and I’m proud of Siya because he comes from my province. Everyone in South Africa is united…Go Bokke!!! I’m here to just see my guys who brought the World Cup back home. I believed in them, just like the other 57 million South Africans who believed in them,” add some of the Boks fans.
