President Cyril Ramaphosa says the protection and the promotion of the well-being of South African women will be the highlight of his Presidency.
He was speaking at the Business Women’s Association of South Africa in Johannesburg earlier on Tuesday.
The dialogue with the President, attended by women from the maritime sector, construction, ICT and banking among others, was called to find ways to upscale women empowerment and get them into public procurement.
These women have decried discrimination, sexual harassment and gender-based violence.
President Ramaphosa has vowed to make the country a better place for them to live.
