Protests in Eldorado Park South of Johannesburg have flared up again.
Disgruntled residents are demanding housing stands which were promised by former Human Settlements MEC Paul Mashatile.
The Golden Highway has been blocked off with burning tyres. Cars are being diverted to use alternative routes.
On Thursday Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Uhuru Moiloa met with members of the community, however the community say the meeting yielded no results.
