The memorial service of the police officer who was killed in Sunnyside, Pretoria on Friday night is underway in Pretoria.
Constable Kenneth Sithole was fatally stabbed and his colleague suffered injuries.
Sithole and his colleague were conducting stop and search duties when they were attacked.
A 21-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday and is expected to apply for bail in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court next Monday.
He faces murder and attempted murder charges.
The funeral service of Sithole will take place in Mosterloos, Limpopo on Saturday.
