President Cyril Ramaphosa says it is essential that findings made by Public Protector Busisiswe Mkhwebane against him are based on fact and are legally sound and he is therefore urgently taking her Bosasa donation report on judicial review.
Ramaphosa has assured South Africans that the work of government will continue despite legal challenges he is facing following the findings by the Public Protector.
Mkhwebane found that Ramaphosa had misled Parliament about the Bosasa donation to his ANC presidential campaign.
The President was speaking at a media briefing in Pretoria on Sunday.
Ramaphosa says his administration will not be diverted from its mission of restoring good governance at SOEs and combating corruption.
