Transport Minister, Blade Nzimande, has announced the newly appointed interim board members of Railway carrier Prasa.
The interim board, which will serve for only one year, was announced after the resignation of former interim board chairperson Tintswalo Makhubele in March.
Dr Simo Lushaba has also been appointed as the new acting group CEO.
State owned enterprise Prasa has been mired in corruption scandals and controversial deals.
The new interim board seeks to clean up Prasa’s image and restore public confidence.
