England’s Ian Poulter and American, Beau Hossler, are tied for the lead on 14 under par going into the final round of the Houston Open golf tournament in Texas.

They have a two-shot lead over a group of four players including Ireland’s Paul Dunne and Australian, Greg Chalmers.

Dawie van der Walt is the best-placed South African on eight under par. Poulter started the day on seven under par, four shots off the pace.

However, a flawless round which included seven birdies, boosted him to the top of the leader board with Hossler.

Hossler managed another solid performance finishing the day on three under 69.

The 2016 British Open champion, Henrik Stenson of Sweden, also remains in the hunt.

Stenson, American Matt Kuchar, and four others are on 11 under par.
