Police are still searching for four inmates who escaped from the Rooigrond Correctional services last week. They were serving life time sentences when they escaped during sports day games.
Police described the four inmates Mandisi Mandi Makanda (31) Simphiwe Sir Makanda (35) Alfred Madela (40) and Nkululo Vava (32) as very dangerous.
The fifth inmate has been re-arrested.
Department of Correctional Services spokesperson, Tshidi Mapole appeals to communities to be vigilant and work with the law enforcement agency.
