Police are conducting a raid in Kliptown, Soweto. They are clamping down on criminal activity in the area following multiple deaths in recent days.
The township has been experiencing a series of gang-related violence.
Three people were killed last week, allegedly by members of a gang called DSS.
Fed up residents then took matters into their hands and necklaced one of the alleged perpetrators, shortly after he was released from police custody.
