Four men have been found murdered inside a room at Phumula Gardens outside Germiston in Gauteng’s East Rand.
A fifth person was rushed to the hospital but died on arrival.
Police say all five had been shot. However the motive behind the shootings are still unknown.
Residents reported hearing gun shots on Thursday night and summoned the police, who arrived to find four men dead and another one fighting for his life.
Alberton police spokesperson Manare Ramotshela has appealed to members of the public for any information that could help them arrest those behind the killings.
“One of the victims was taken to Thelle Mogoerane hospital where he passed away. There were five people in the house. Police are investigating the matter.”
