Polokwane businessman and double murder accused Rameez Patel will continue his bail application in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Patel is accused of orchestrating the murder of his mother, Mahajeen Banu Patel in September.
During his previous appearance, the state conducted an inspection-in-loco at Banu Patel’s house.
Patel has since moved from police cells to the Polokwane Correctional facility. He is also on trial for his wife, Fatima’s murder in 2015.
His father was shot dead last year.
Patel’s brother has since fled to London, fearing for his life. The investigating officer is expected to continue giving testimony.
