Agriculture organisation, Agri SA, has once again reiterated that it is not opposed to land expropriation – only against expropriation without compensation.
Agri SA is the first organisation to make oral presentations at Parliament’s Constitutional Review Committee. The committee is investigating whether Section 25 of the Constitution should be amended to allow for land expropriation without compensation.
Agri SA speaker Doctor Annelize Crosby says there are many alternatives to expropriation without compensation.
