Those who are seeking funding from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) have until midnight Sunday to submit their applications.
On Friday, NSFAS to extend the closing date for online applications.
The deadline was for the submission of applications was initially Friday. NSFAS has appealed to those who failed to submit supporting documents to use this opportunity to do so. The financial aid scheme says currently 50 000 applicants require supporting documents. Others need to be re-submitted due to the poor quality of the submitted documents.
NSFAS’ Kagisho Mamabolo, “The NSFAS website will stop working on Sunday midnight on the 2nd of December and no late applications will be received thereafter. This weekend extension is only applicable to online applications and not applicable to applications that are dropped and the National Youth Development Agency nationwide.”
