Statistician-General Padi Lehohla saidCensus 2011 has been a success. He says he is happy with the progress made in this year’s population count, which ends on October 31. Lehohla says they’ve reached the target of reducing undercounting to less than 10% and he satisfied with the response from the public.

Over 100 Census workers downed tools in Durban and toyi-toyied as they demanded to get paid the same as their counterparts in other provinces.
