The New Zealand rugby team has retained the Bledisloe Cup for a 17th consecutive year.

The All Blacks scored five tries to beat Australia 36-nil in the second match of the series at Eden Park in Auckland.

They led 17-nil at half-time.

It was a remarkable turn-around for the reigning World Cup champions who suffered a humiliating 47-26 defeat against the Wallabies in the opening match of the series last week.

They also retain their number one ranking.

Later on Saturday afternoon, South Africa will host Argentina at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria in an international friendly.

It’s the Springboks’ farewell match before next month’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.
