With a sluggish growth and unemployment stubbornly high at just over 27%, the newly appointed ministers and their deputies have vowed to turn the economy around.
The over 60 national executives were sworn-in by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng and his deputy Raymond Zondo at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria.
The reduced executive also comprised of young people with a fifty-fifty gender representation.
New faces include Deputy Finance Minister David Masondo, who said his key priority will be to work to attract investment and stimulate job creation.
