The Nathi Youth Development Forum in KwaZulu-Natal is planning a campaign to curb discrimination against people living with albinism. The foundation’s Nathi Zuma says they have approached DJ Sox to compose a campaign song.

Dignitaries such as former Social Development MEC, Weziwe Thusi and former deputy speaker of the provincial legislature Meshack Radebe, are expected to take part in a march in the Maqongqo area on Table Mountain in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands on Sunday.

Zuma explains why the march is being held in this area.

“In fact what happened, the reason why we chose Table Mountain, two people disappeared in the past two months. So that’s why we came up with that we must go and try. We’ve invited Doctor Meshack Radebe, Ma Weziwe Thusi and inkosi Philize Mdunge to be part of the campaign. We also extended our invite to Isilo sama Bantu to participate in the campaign, but unfortunately he is not around this area,” explains Zuma.
