A former Police Crime Intelligence official has told the State Capture Commission in Parktown, Johannesburg, that he gave a rather limited report to his superiors regarding his interviews with the Hawks on alleged looting of a secret fund.

Colonel Dhanajaya Naidoo, who is in witness protection, was testifying from a secret location.

Naidoo blew the whistle on the alleged swindling of millions from the Secret Service Account. It’s alleged that the fund was looted to buy cars, employing unqualified family members and funding overseas trips.

Naidoo was testifying about report backs he gave to Major-General Solly Lazarus after his meetings with the Hawks.
