The African National Congress (ANC) Youth League in the North West has once again called for the National Executive Committee of the ANC to intervene in the on-going infights within the provincial party structures.

This comes after a group of people believed to be another faction of the party in the province, disrupted an organised ANC Youth League public lecture held in Rustenburg.

ANC Youth League President, Collen Maine, was expected to address the lecture.

North West youth League spokesperson Tshiamo Tsotetsi says they want new leadership in the province.

“Now we are going to appeal that the National Executive of the ANC take note of these things. The National Executive committee of the ANC must begin to act on what we are seeing. The ANC will win the fight rigging that is happening in the province. The ANC will fight its battles, in part of the renewal, and part of the renewal must mean the removal of Supra Mahumapelo because he is a challenge, he is a cancer to the ANC.”
