Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Pat Ngomane has paid tribute to the late Afropop sensation, Robbie Malinga who succumbed to an illness on Christmas Day.
Ngomane described Malinga not only as an entertainer and music producer of note, but also as an outstanding community builder such that he even participated in the Department’s compilation of two tracks CD on road safety.
Robbie Malinga was part of the eleven artists who recorded a Mpumalanga road safety CD which was part of the department’s efforts to enhance road safety.
The two songs qaphela and prayer for road safety were part of the collaboration which was meant to go a long way to send messages to curb unnecessary crashes mostly caused by human error. Click below for more on the story :
