Reading Time: < 1 minute

Limpopo traffic authorities have advised motorists to be vigilant on the road as rainy weather conditions persist in some parts of the province. Traffic spokesperson Matome Moremi says motorists on the R101 between Bela-Bela and Hammanskraal should use the N1, as the R101 is flooded at Pienaarsrivier.

“The Pienaarsrivier is flooding and spilling on the R101 road next to Maubane, motorists should rather use the N1. We can’t guarantee anyone’s safety as this floods are strong, we advise every motorist across the province in Limpopo to drive carefully because the roads are wet, they are slippery, please check your wipers before you leave as well as tyres, switch on the lights not the indicators in any situation where you find the mist, the visibility is a bit blurry.”
