Momodu parts ways with the SABC

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has issued a statement saying  its spokesperson, Neo Momodu, is leaving the public broadcaster.

The SABC says that Momodu has decided to leave the corporation to pursue other interests.

Both parties agreed to end the employment relationship amicably.

Group CEO Madoda Mxakwe has thanked Momodu for heading up a critical division at the public broadcaster, and has wished her well.

Vuyo Mthembu is taking over from Momodu from Friday.

In 2018, the SABC announced that previous spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago had decided to part ways with the public broadcaster.
