Netball South Africa President Cecilia Molokwane was happy with the success of the Spar National Championship that took place in Johannesburg last week.
The tournament started on Monday and culminated with Tshwane beating Dr Kenneth Kaunda in the final on Saturday.
There were 41 senior teams and 32 Under 21 sides divided into A and B sections. Districts participated in the event.
Tshwane won the senior event and their Under 21 side also won their event after they beat Nelson Mandela Bay in a final also on Saturday.
The two teams were also crowned champions in 2018. Molokwane is not worried that Tshwane is dominating other teams. – Report by Vincent Sitsula
