North West Premier Job Mokgoro says he is optimistic about the turnout in the 2019 elections. He joined hundreds of registered voters that braved the cold and wet weather conditions in Mahikeng on Wednesday morning, to cast their votes.
In Kraaipan village where the Tlhakajeng Primary School was burned last week, the opening of the station was delayed because the tent was tampered with.
In Kagisano Molopo, protests prevented several stations from opening.
“I feel absolutely great about the future prospects and I think this province is just going to fly high. I’m still optimistic. I visited ward one in Mahikeng and I went to two voting stations and everything was going on well. I will be going to Bojanala. I will visit a few voting districts there and thereafter I will go to Dr Kenneth Kaunda district municipality and also visit a number of voting stations there,” says Mokgoro.
