Former SA Schools captain Salmaan Moerat will lead the Junior Springboks in their first warm-up match ahead of the World Rugby Under 20 Championship.
They’ll play against Georgia in Stellenbosch on Friday, in the build-up to the World Rugby U20 Championship.
The tournament takes place in France, and Georgia are their first opponents on the 30th of May.
Junior Springbok Coach Chean Roux has named a starting line-up that includes five players who were members of the SA U20 team that finished third in 2017.
“It’s a good balance between young players coming in and some experienced players that have played last year. I think we’ve got a great EPD program so there are players that Saru has been tracking for the last three years and we’ll see on Friday whether we’re on the right track with them.”
