Mnangagwa urges SA to support Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has urged South Africa to support his country to rebuild its economy and improve the living conditions of millions of people who are trapped in poverty.

President Mnangagwa is in South Africa on his first official trip abroad and has paid a courtesy call on President Jacob Zuma.

Mnangagwa will also use his stay in the country to meet and attract potential investors back into his country after years of isolation.

Earlier, President Jacob Zuma has thanked his Zimbabwean counterpart for bringing about peace and stability in his country after the recall of President Robert Mugabe.

The two leaders discussed issues affecting their respective countries that include trade and investment.
