The Viva Zimbabwe leader, Acie Lumumba, says Emmerson Mnangagwa is a perfect man to take over the embattled Robert Mugabe to restore stability in the country.
This comes as Zimbabwe is in preparations to impeach Mugabe who missed the deadline to step down as the country President on Monday.
“I think Emmerson Mnangagwa is coming in as the Vice-President, and that process has to happen quickly so that investors can have some confidence, so that people can get to work, and party Zanu-PF itself can start preparing for elections. The quicker he gets back in the office, the quicker everybody gets back to work,” says Lumumba.
However, the former member of Zanu-PF, Lumumba believes that should Mugabe be voted out, he will not go down without fighting back the results of the impeachment.
