The 43-year-old man re-arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder of 10 year-old Miguel Louw will remain in custody until his next court appearance on December 12th.
Mohammed Ebrahim was out on bail of R2 500 for allegedly kidnapping Louw.
He made a brief appearance in court where he was formally charged with murder.
Louw was last seen with Ebrahim who is said to be a friend of the family on July the 17th this year.
A CCTV camera captured them leaving a local food outlet in Phoenix north of Durban.
The boy’s decomposed body was found on September the third in a park in Phoenix near Ebrahim’s home.
